Job description

Position Overview

The Clinical Faculty Coordinator (CFC) will build and maintain relationships with the University’s clinical partners in the greater Rancho Cucamonga area while supporting the Concordia University Irvine Accelerated BSN program. The role is based at 10750 Fourth St., Rancho Cucamonga, CA and runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Director to identify, select, monitor, and evaluate all clinical adjunct faculty and clinical sites.
• Collaborate with course faculty to align clinical experiences with course and program outcomes/goals.
• Serve as the primary point‑of‑contact for resolving clinical personnel issues between site staff and clinical faculty/students.
• Coordinate orientation and training for clinical faculty regarding their clinical sites and associated nursing coursework.
• Mentor new adjunct faculty in clinical teaching activities.
• Verify student and faculty clinical compliance.
• Monitor clinical attendance and manage clinical make‑ups.
• May have teaching responsibilities in lab or clinical courses.

Qualifications

• BSN required, MSN preferred.
• Unencumbered California RN license.
• At least two years of combined teaching experience as a preceptor, adjunct clinical instructor, or classroom/lab instructor.
• Ability to meet the challenges of adult learners with diverse backgrounds.
• Self‑directed, innovative, and possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to build relationships, communicate across educational levels, and work effectively in a team.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $80,000‑$115,000 annually.
