Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA seeks rehabilitation professionals to provide therapy across disciplines—physical, occupational, respiratory, and speech—to help patients recover and regain daily activities. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology; AHA BLS certification; ACLS within six months.

Master’s degree preferred and no experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in specified fields.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation therapy across disciplines to aid recovery.
• Assess, plan, and deliver interventions to improve daily function.
• Interact with patients face-to-face and contribute to clinical programs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology
