Qualifications

• Master's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or Kinesiology, or equivalency.
• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system, to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Responsibilities

• Performs exercise testing of new patients.
• Interprets exercise testing results and designs exercise plans based on physician recommendations and patient goals.
• Teaches patients exercises and guides progressive exercise programs; modifies plans to meet current status.
• Monitors patient health and adjusts exercise plans as needed.
• Collects data and coordinates participants for research; supports outreach and education workshops.
