Job summary

Life Scan Wellness Centers Early Detection Public Safety Physicals seeks qualified professionals for full-time and part-time roles. The position involves regional and national travel to designated fire/police departments, performing ECG screening, fitness tests, and creating exercise prescriptions.

Candidates should hold a B.S. in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science, possess ACLS/BLS, and demonstrate strong communication, leadership and technical skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science from an accredited program.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Strong technical skills: MS Office, Imaging软件 and EMR platforms.
• Professionalism and compassion are required.
• Must have own vehicle capable of carrying equipment.
• Position requires regular regional and national travel.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history.
• Assess body weight, BMI and BIA body fat percentage.
• Perform a 12-lead resting and exercise ECG with interpretation.
• Conduct muscular strength and endurance assessments.
• Perform flexibility assessments.
• Create customized exercise prescriptions based on examination results.
• Provide dietary recommendations.
• Maintain individualized and detailed charting.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. required from an accredited program of Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science
• ACLS and BLS required
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Strong technical skills to include MS Office, Imaging software and EMR platforms
• Professionalism and compassion a MUST!
• Have own vehicle that can hold and carry needed equipment

THIS POSITION REQUIRES REGULAR REGIONAL TRAVEL AS WELL AS NATIONAL TRAVEL TO DESIGNATED FIRE/POLICE DEPARTMENT LOCATIONS

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review patient history
• Assess body weight, BMI and BIA Body Fat %
• Properly prep and perform a 12-lead resting and exercise ECG with independent intermediate interpretation skills (ECG assessment will be given as part of pre-employment process to assess knowledge)
• Perform various muscular strength and endurance assessments
• Perform various flexibility assessments
• Create customized exercise prescriptions based on exam results
• Include dietary recommendations
• Individualized and detailed charting
• Other duties as assigned
