In addition, the Clinical Ethics Fellow will be a resource embedded in the Oregon Region (yet supporting needs in the Central Division and system, as feasible) on matters related to health care ethics; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and mission integration.
The Clinical Ethics Fellow works with the Director and Ethicist(s) to engage in ethics participatory mechanisms across the Providence system by supporting ethics committees/councils and participating in research ethics initiatives (e.g., Institutional Review Board(s)); the Clinical Ethics Fellow may also contribute to system-wide projects and initiatives at the discretion of the Director and fellowship faculty.
