Job summary

The Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha is recruiting a general endocrinologist to join our faculty. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding division that is highly recognized for its clinical and basic research programs.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS or equivalent degree required or equivalent.
• Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology.
• Excellent clinical, professional, and communication skills.
• Interest in clinical research and clinical trials desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for inpatients and outpatients at Nebraska Medical Center and Bellevue Medical Center.
• Join a cohesive group of colleagues in an intellectually stimulating environment.
• Clinical practice at Nebraska Medical Center and Bellevue Medical Center.

The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in Endocrinology. Candidates should have excellent clinical, professional, and communication skills. Training and interest in clinical research and clinical trials as well as bedside ultrasound, ultrasound guided biopsy and potentially radio-frequency ablation is desirable.
