Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a CPI and Ukeru Instructor to support staff education with a part-time schedule. The role requires 24-30 hours per month, Monday–Friday, and involves physical job requirements essential to the work.

The educator will develop and deliver clinically focused training, collaborate with clinical teams, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance while promoting lifelong learning for staff. RN licensure is required; Master’s in Nursing preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare-related field.
  • RN license.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
  • Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate education programs for staff.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and organizations to develop and deliver training.
  • Promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Align education plans with leadership to meet staff needs.
  • Support ongoing professional development.

  • Collaborates with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present and or evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education and or professional development opportunities.
  • Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborates with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops appropriate education plan.
