Job summary

EMSAR is seeking a Traveling Per Diem Clinical Educator (Labor and Delivery RN or CNM) to join our Clinical Solutions team. The role involves traveling to hospitals nationwide, delivering on-site and virtual product demonstrations, and training staff on fetal and maternal monitoring equipment.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license (BSN preferred) or Certified Nurse Midwife with 3+ years of L&D experience, and are comfortable with frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (BSN Preferred) or Certified Nurse Midwife.
• Minimum of three years of Full-Time Labor and Delivery Experience.
• Strong knowledge of fetal and maternal monitoring technologies; understanding of normal ranges and emergent data.
• Flexibility, initiative, accountability, and professionalism.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and training/presentation skills.
• Expertise with Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and basic networks.
• Ability to organize, schedule and manage all travel needs and accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Teach clinical staff how to use Fetal and Maternal Monitoring equipment.
• Provide product demonstration, both virtually and on-site, to customers prior to the purchase of equipment
• Share clinical expertise with Sales Director

Traveling Per Diem Clinical Educator (Labor and Delivery RN or CNM)

Location: Travel-based (must live within 1 hour of a major U.S. airport)

Schedule: Per diem – Part-Time (after completion of 3 month full-time orientation)

About the Role

As part of EMSAR’s Clinical Solutions team, you will work with a leading Maternal & Fetal patient monitoring company and their expert clinicians and technical specialists. Traveling to hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country as a Clinical Educator, you will:

• Teach clinical staff how to use Fetal and Maternal Monitoring equipment
• Provide product demonstration, both virtually and on-site, to customers prior to the purchase of equipment
• Share clinical expertise with Sales Director
• Share customer feedback with the client’s clinical and sales support teams
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervisor/manager

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

• Current RN license (BSN Preferred) or Certified Nurse Midwife
• Minimum of three years of Full-Time Labor and Delivery Experience
• Strong, Demonstrable knowledge of:
• Fetal and Maternal monitoring technologies
• Understanding of normal ranges and identification of abnormal/emergent data
• Triage, laboring and varied monitoring workflows
• Flexibility, strong initiative, accountability, and professionalism
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and training/presentation skills
• Expertise with Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and basic networks
• Ability to organize, schedule and manage all travel needs and accommodation
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervisor/manager

Availability & Travel

• Availability: 4–5 consecutive days Monday–Friday
• Able to travel interstate for overnight stays 4-5 nights per week
• Live within 1 hour of a major U.S. airport and comfortable flying (including regional jets)

Reliable transportation for drivable assignments up to 3-4 hours from home

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Frequent overnight travel across multiple time zones.
• Varied clinical environments with differing conditions.
• Potential for exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous agents.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, crawl, and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to see monitor screens and hear alarms for teaching and troubleshooting.
• Must meet required medical screenings and vaccinations (e.g., COVID 19, MMR, Flu, and others as needed).
