Job summary

Incredible Health in Washington, DC is seeking a Clinical Educator to design and implement nursing education programs, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education.

You will assess educational needs, identify competency gaps, and collaborate with clinicians, managers, and staff to align initiatives with hospital policies. RN licensed, with teaching experience preferred; BLS required, ACLS a plus.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing is required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in education and staff development.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational programs tailored to the needs of nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify educational needs and competency gaps within the nursing team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, department managers, and administrative staff to ensure that educational initiatives align with hospital policies and procedures.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, providing expert advice and guidance on best practices in nursing care.
• Maintain accurate records of educational activities, and evaluate program effectiveness through feedback surveys and other metrics.
