Job summary

CARTI is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to collaborate with leaders across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate education programs for clinical staff. This role supports orientation, competency programs, in-service and continuing education, and academic partnerships for CARTI personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 3 years in clinical education or instruction.
• Experience in oncology, perioperative, or other supported specialties preferred.
• Knowledge of USP 800 is preferred.
• Strong teaching concepts and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
• Proficient with MS Office, Canva, Google Slides; familiar with LMS administration and educational AI tools.
• Knowledge of licensing and certification requirements for clinical roles (RNs, LPNs, APRNs, MAs, CNAs, CRNAs, CTs, RTs).

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates education programs for orientation, competency, and professional development of clinical staff.
• Ensures programs meet organizational and regulatory standards; incorporates current research.
• Provides consultation to enhance continuing education and mentorship opportunities.
• Develops curricula and preceptor programs to support orientation and staff retention.
• Mentors colleagues, nurses, students, and others as appropriate.
• Engages as an educator in clinical specialties and tracks education and regulatory trends.
• Assists with data entry and maintenance in learning management systems.
• Participates in professional nursing organizations (ONS, AORN, AVA).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
