Qualifications
- Current Hawaii state RN license and eligible to practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- CCDS certification by ACDIS; if not certified on hire, certification within 36 months.
- Two years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding guidelines and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring quality and completeness of clinical documentation through concurrent reviews.
- Collaborate with coding staff and quality team to ensure accurate reimbursement and data integrity.
- Serve as training and quality resource for providers and care teams.
- Support education activities to improve medical record documentation and coding.
