Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a CDI specialist to independently reconcile retrospective CDI reviews and final coded records, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will interpret coding guidelines, collaborate with CDI Specialists, Coding Professionals, and Physician Advisors to resolve discrepancies, and analyze findings to identify systemic issues.

This role may offer remote work in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare field and 5+ years of CDI or inpatient coding experience.
• Active RN license or AHIMA CCS credential required; CCDS or CDIP certification preferred.
• Remote work option available in a professional office environment.
