Empower Physical Therapy in Alaska is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Anchorage/Mat-Su Valley team. You will deliver expert physical therapy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to patient recovery and functional goals.
We offer a robust mentorship program, a $3,000 CEU allowance, and opportunities for leadership and clinical growth as the clinic expands across Alaska.
You Already Know Why Alaska Is Great. Let's Talk About Where You Practice.
If you're a Physical Therapist already living in Alaska, you probably aren't looking for someone to sell you on the mountains, fishing, skiing, or Midnight Sun.
We think it should take more than a slightly different salary.
It should mean joining a clinic where you're genuinely excited about your future.
We invest heavily in clinical development. Our therapists have backgrounds in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, pelvic health, manual therapy, dry needling, and spinal manipulation.
Whether you've been practicing for six months or ten years, we want you to look back after joining Empower and know that you've grown.
We like to call many of our patients the Alaskan Athlete.
That doesn't mean they're all competitive athletes.
They're parents, nurses, construction workers, slopers, runners, skiers, hikers, hunters, fishermen, weekend warriors, and everyday Alaskans who don't want pain or an injury keeping them from doing what they love or the things they need to live in Alaska.
Our job is to help them get back to it. That makes therapy more rewarding and a lot more fun.
We pride ourselves on our team and culture! We feel like you should love who you work with and have a blast when you get to be with them. Some lifelong friends have come from working at Empower. Our owners, directors and leaders work alongside our clinicians and administrative team to make it one big Empower TEAM. Our values are part of everyday conversations, decisions, and how we treat one another.
And we actually spend time together outside of work.
One of the things we hear most often from employees, traveling therapists, and patients, is how welcoming, friendly, and supportive our team feels. That's something we take pride in and are looking for others that want that!
We're not looking for someone to simply fill an opening. We're looking for PTs who want to grow with us. As Empower continues to grow, we want our clinicians to have opportunities to grow too, clinically, professionally, financially, and as leaders. With opening new locations and expanding our reach in Alaska, we continue to look for more leaders to help us on this path.
Your work should be rewarded.
That's okay. Some of the best career changes start with a conversation.
If you've wondered what else is out there—or whether there's a clinic where you could grow more, earn more, enjoy your team more, and get excited about practicing physical therapy again,we'd love to meet you.
No pressure and no complicated process. Just come learn more about Empower and see if it might be a better fit.
