The Indian Health Service in Mescalero, New Mexico seeks a Supervisory Physician (Administration/Family Practice or Internal Medicine) to serve as Clinical Director supporting the Division of Clinical Services. This position is located at the Mescalero Service Unit ambulatory care health center.

• Organizes and directs Health Center activities including staff meetings, committee activity, and other activities required to maintain Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accreditation.
• Develops, plans, and implements programs for improvement and contracting of patient care services to meet the needs of the population.
• Recruits medical professionals working with Human Resources in recruitment.
• Reviews staff performance and completes written evaluations for supervised staff.
• Performs direct patient care, performing clinical duties including patient assessment, diagnosis and full spectrum primary care.
• Provides and educates patients on preventative healthcare for all ages, maintaining health records and facility reports.
