Job summary

Odyssey House of Utah is seeking a Clinical Director for our Criminal Justice Program in Salt Lake City. You will oversee the clinical milieu, supervise interns and staff, and ensure compliance with DSM-5 and county requirements.

The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and a salary of $85,000 plus comprehensive benefits. You will coordinate with Jail Mental Health and wrap-around providers to support client engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) is required.
• Graduate degree in mental health field.
• Minimum three years experience in direct clinical care.
• Criminal background check required for working with children or vulnerable adults.
• First Aid and CPR Certification (available through Odyssey House).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the clinical milieu. Provide clinical supervision to interns and counselors.
• Coordinate and provide clinical training and onboarding for new therapists and interns.
• Demonstrate proficiency in spreadsheets, budgeting, SmartSheet, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Oversee monthly Quality Assurance and Clinical audits, including documentation, scope of practice, grammar, and compliance with county requirements.
• Participate in weekly management meetings and support ongoing program planning, evaluation, and quality assurance initiatives.
