Clinical Director (Full-Time)

Bright Side Counseling is seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinical Director to lead our growing practice in West Columbia. The Clinical Director will provide leadership, supervision, and clinical support to our therapists while maintaining a part-time caseload (25 hours/week of client availability). Our therapists have a variety of specialties, and we see a wide range of clients, ages 10 and up.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and clinical guidance to LPCA clinicians
• Maintain 25 hours/week of availability for direct client care
• Ensure clinical documentation meets ethical, legal, and organizational standards
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff
• Collaborate with leadership on clinical operations, compliance, and quality improvement
• Serve as a point of contact for clinical emergencies and complex cases
• Help foster a positive and supportive team culture

Required Qualifications

• Active LPCS licensed in South Carolina or
• LPCS candidate licensed in South Carolina (supervision available)
• Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience
• Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
• Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice

Preferred Qualifications

• Credentialed with major insurance panels (e.g., BCBS, Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE)
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare treatment and documentation standards
• Strong understanding of SC State law and LLR regulations and standards
