Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a Director of Nursing for the Surgicare Miramar Center in Miami, FL. The role leads the ambulatory surgery nursing team, oversees OR operations, ensures compliance, and drives patient-care quality with a focus on efficiency.

The candidate should have RN licensure with leadership experience in an operative setting, strong budgeting, and team development skills. A $10K sign-on bonus is offered to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state.
• CPR required; advanced life support certification required.
• One year leadership experience in intra-operative setting preferred.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operating room and patient care operations.
• Implement process initiatives to improve efficiency and patient experience.
• Manage budgeting and resource planning for the department.
• Recruit and schedule qualified personnel for the department.
• Provide clinical training and development opportunities for staff.
• Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and quality standards.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with ASC Administrator to drive fiscal accountability and policy development.
