Job summary

Greater Family Health in Illinois seeks a Clinical Director to provide daily oversight of multi-site clinic operations and lead a diverse team of nurses and support staff. You will guide workflows, ensure quality of care, and enforce clinical policies across sites.

You will ensure timely documentation, supervise staff performance, recruit skilled nursing personnel, and drive compliance with Joint Commission standards under the COO's leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in related field is preferred.
• Graduate of accredited registered nurse program preferred.
• R.N. licensure in State of Illinois preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and staff performance.
• Ensure timely submission of staff paperwork and documentation (e.g., QA, CDA, progress notes, evaluations).
• Lead recruitment and hiring of a diverse nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, internal policies, and procedures.
• Be on 24-hour on-call for program support and respond promptly.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and COO on scheduling and site changes.

If this is you, keep on reading.Your Goal:The Clinical Director is responsible for daily oversight of clinic operations of Greater Family Health.How You’ll Help Patients:Has primary responsibility for ensuring smooth clinic operations through daily oversight.Day-to-day responsibility for the timely and correct submission of all staff paperwork and documentation (eg: QA,CDA, progress notes, performance evaluations, etc…).Provides all forms of leadership, supervision, direction, training and role modeling to clinic staff, including developing and leading of weekly meetings and providing supervision of direct report staff.Participates in the implementation of all Joint Commission, Greater Family Health and other indicated policies, procedures, protocols, and standards as they relate to the provision of health care services under the direction of the COO.Lead the recruitment and hiring of a cadre of specialty-diverse and adequately experienced nursing staff.Ensure that the programs are in compliance with all program objectives, systems, policies, procedures, directives, contractual agreements, contracts, training personnel and Greater Family Health policies and procedures.Be on 24-hour on call for any and all assistance to the program; respond to all calls and requests for assistance in a timely and proper manner according to the policies and procedures of Greater Family Health.Reports to all scheduled work sites and shifts on time and fully prepared to engage in all job responsibilities; location of work sites and shifts will change at the discretion of the supervisor.Engages in all offered trainings, consultations and supervisions made available.
