Job summary

Client Care Continuum is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead all clinical services in Arley, Alabama. The role oversees clinical staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports program development with CARF and state guidelines.

Responsibilities include supervision, quality improvement, and collaboration with medical providers and partners to promote positive treatment outcomes for veterans and individuals in recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active Alabama licensure (LPC, LICSW, LMFT) in good standing.
• Minimum of three years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Knowledge of CARF standards and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Client Care Continuum (CCC) is a CARF-accredited behavioral health organization dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment and recovery services for veterans and individuals affected by substance use and mental health disorders. Our mission is to empower individuals through quality clinical care, recovery support, and a safe therapeutic environment.

Position Summary

Client Care Continuum is seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Director to provide leadership and oversight of all clinical services. The Clinical Director will ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care while maintaining compliance with CARF standards, Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) regulations, and all applicable federal and state requirements.

This position works closely with executive leadership to oversee clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, support program development, and promote positive treatment outcomes.

• Current Alabama professional licensure (LPC, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in good standing.


• Minimum of three years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health.


• Experience working with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders.


• Strong understanding of CARF standards and regulatory compliance.


• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential treatment programs.


• Experience serving veterans or military populations.


• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment models.


• Experience with electronic health record systems (ICANotes preferred).
