Qualifications

• Experience with computer systems and web-based applications; proficiency with Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics required; Master's degree required for new graduates effective Jan 2024.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition screenings and comprehensive assessments for high-risk patients; provide evidence-based care.
• Develop, implement and update personalized nutrition care plans, including parenteral and enteral nutrition.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize tube feeding and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) management.
• Mentor and precept dietetic interns; contribute to clinical training program improvements.
• Deliver nutrition education and training to healthcare staff; enhance knowledge across the care team.
• Contribute to creation and refinement of patient education materials, clinical forms, policies, and standards of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation per hospital policies; ensure effective communication of nutrition data.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, departmental meetings, and interdisciplinary projects.
• Pursue professional growth by researching current literature and participating in evidence-based practice improvements.
• Support community health through educational fairs and outreach programs.
