Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients of all ages and disease states on assigned nursing units. You will also consult to Carle Home Care and represent the Hospital Food Service on the Diabetes Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (IDFPR) in Illinois.
• Registered Dietitian (CDR)

Responsibilities

• Manages nutritional care for patients on assigned units.
• Provides MNT and nutrition education to patients and families.
• Guides pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients toward a nutritionally balanced diet.
• Plans patient menus and monitors food quality.
• Mentors dietetic interns and participates in interdisciplinary care conferences.
• Consults to Carle Home Care as required by licensing agencies.
