Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time Dietitian to join our nutrition team. The role includes weekend work, assessing and planning patient nutrition, performing nutrition-focused physical exams, and documenting nutritional status.

Position will include weekends with additional hours as needed. Assess, interpret, plan, monitor, and document the nutritional status and nutritional needs of patients using evidence-based standards of care, policies and practice guidelines. Perform a nutrition-focused physical exam on patients. Identify and provide age-specific nutrition care and meet the cultural needs of the patients and their families. Work within an inter-disciplinary team to provide a plan of care to achieve the patient's health goals. Educate patients, care givers, students, and other health care colleagues on the effect of therapeutic diets and nutrition support to maintain/improve nutritional status. When assigned, provide support and supervision to the daily infant formula preparation routine which includes identifying and calculating recipes to individualize the formula to meet nutritional needs of the infant. Participate in department activities to enhance patient satisfaction. Keep current on nutrition research and incorporate into daily practice. Other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate: $30.01 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
