Job summary

Compass Group's Morrison Healthcare at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting. The role requires RDN eligibility and AL licensure, with 2-3 days per week and potential weekend coverage.

Hourly pay is $30-$40 per hour. You will assess patients, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the food service team to support quality outcomes and professional growth.

Qualifications

• RDN or CDR exam eligible and licensed where required.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice as applicable.
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with clinical training encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop care plans.
• Education: provide nutrition guidance to patients, families, staff, and community.
• Evidence-based practice aligned with diet manual and facility protocols.
• Quality & performance improvement contributions to patient care.
• Collaboration with food service management to support patient satisfaction.
• Mentorship and education of dietetic interns and staff when applicable.
