Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – St. Louis North is hiring a Registered Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy, assess patients, and collaborate with the medical staff to implement nutrition care plans.

You will develop and monitor enteral/parenteral nutrition, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and educate staff on nutrition care. Requires active state licensure and RD registration, plus 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification required by state.
• Active registration with the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• At least 1 year of clinical facility experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy and monitor patient progress.
• Develop and monitor enteral and parenteral nutrition support regimens.
• Collaborate with medical staff, patients, families and food service to implement care plans.
• Perform nutritional assessments and re-assessments and set goals.
• Review diet manuals and ensure alignment with provider orders.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and educate staff.

Education

Current state licensure/certification

Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration

One (1) year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent
