Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our acute care team and deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy to help improve patient outcomes. You will perform nutrition assessments and create individualized care plans in a collaborative environment that includes NICU/Pediatric and trauma coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RDN) or eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice, or willing to obtain license.
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting.
• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients, families, staff, and community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
• Apply evidence-based practice aligned with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with the food service management team to improve patient satisfaction and service goals.
