Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a PRN schedule. The role involves nutrition assessment, counseling, and care planning for patients with brain injuries, spinal injuries, neurological disorders, and other conditions.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement nutrition plans and educate patients and staff. The position emphasizes comprehensive nutrition services, interdisciplinary rounds, and ongoing

Formación

• Current state licensure/certification, if required by state.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Provides nutrition assessment, counseling, and education; develops an appropriate nutrition care plan.
• Considers religious, cultural, and ethical factors in nutrition assessments and plan of care.
• Evaluates potential food/drug or herb/supplement interactions and provides nutrition education as appropriate.
• Communicates and implements the nutritional plan of care with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Attends Interdisciplinary Care meetings and participates in rounds when available.
• Develops and implements educational programs for patients and staff; sets achievable nutrition goals.
• Keeps current with ADA requirements and continuing education.
