Job summary

Select Medical in partnership with CoxHealth Rehabiliation in Ozark, MO is seeking a Registered Dietitian for our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. You will provide comprehensive nutrition services, including screening, assessments, diet planning, counseling and education to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions.

Qualifications

• Current licensure/certification in state where practicing.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR).
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nutrition services including screening, assessment, counseling, education, and care planning.
• Considers religious, cultural, and ethical factors in nutrition plans.
• Evaluates potential food/drug or supplement interactions and provides counseling.
• Communicates nutrition plan with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Attends interdisciplinary care meetings to develop patient care plans.
• Develops educational programs for patients and staff and supports nutrition goals.
