Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago is seeking a part-time Clinical Dietitian to provide daily Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for the hospital's inpatient census and select outpatient services.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, prescribe nutrition support when needed, document in the EMR, collaborate with physicians and pharmacy, and contribute to student mentorship while delivering nutrition education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (CDR eligibility prior to 2024) or graduate degree.
• ACEND accredited supervised practice program completed.
• Didactic experience in clinical nutrition from ACEND approved program.

Responsibilities

• Provision of daily MNT for inpatients and select outpatients.
• Prescribe nutrition support and monitor formulas when needed.
• Document care in EMR and support coding processes.
• Educate patients and mentor nutrition students/trainees.
