Job summary

Wolfson Children’s Hospital, part of Baptist Health, is hiring a Clinical Dietitian II for the Pediatric team in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday 8:00–4:30 with option for hospital-wide coverage.

Requirements include RD and licensed RD, BS in nutrition, and 1–2 years inpatient nutrition experience. MS preferred. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $1,500 for external hires.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with active licensure required.
• 1–2 years inpatient clinical nutrition experience preferred.
• BS in Dietetics/Nutrition required; MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure patients receive appropriate nutrition.
• If needed, implement and maintain plan of care for TF and TPN patients.
• Provide education to inpatients, families, staff, and community groups.
• Communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Promote a caring and supportive work environment.
• Develop personal professional goals and growth.
• Contribute to department quality improvement initiatives.

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Clinical Dietitian II to our Pediatric team at Baptist Howard, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity with shifts taking place Monday-Friday from 8:00-4:30.

Responsibilities:

• - Assuring patients receiving appropriate nutrition
• - Implementing and maintaining plan of care for TF and TPN patients
• - Providing education to inpatients and/or significant others, staff, civic organizations, and approved community events
• - Communicating well with multidisciplinary staff
• - Promoting a caring and supportive work environment
• - Performing other functions as assigned
• - Improving and maintaining department quality results
• - This position will have options for coverage at all Baptist Health hospital locations
• - Developing personal goals

Experience Requirements:

• - 1-2 years Clinical Inpatient Nutrition Care Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

• - Registered Dietitian (RD) Required
