Compass Group's TouchPoint at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking a Clinical Dietitian (Hourly-PRN) to provide medical nutrition therapy, support nutrition care plans, and mentor staff in an acute care setting.

This role offers flexible part-time scheduling (8–24 hours per week), a $1,500 sign-on bonus, and opportunities to gain inpatient experience and professional growth while meeting regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible to obtain certification
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
• One year of hospital experience, preferred

Responsabilités

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Location : TouchPoint at Ascension Genesys Hospital

Setting : Inpatient

Schedule : Flexible Part-Time Schedule! Typically 8–24 hours per week, based on operational needs, with a minimum commitment of just 8 hours every two weeks. Ideal for Dietitians seeking work-life balance, supplemental income, or flexible clinical experience.

Job Details: Build your clinical skills in an established hospital setting with opportunities to gain experience in nutrition support, including TPN order writing. Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population


• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual


• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies


• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable


• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications :

• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
