Responsibilities

• Provides clinical nutrition assessment, education and documentation for home care patients and their caregivers, in their homes.
• Maintains quality assurance and evaluates compliance with corporate policies and procedures and State and Federal guidelines.
• Assists in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating the Dietary Department, its programs and activities.
• Develops and participates in educational sessions for staff to increase knowledge of staff and improve care.
• Reviews appropriate web sites, publications and other educational materials to ensure that the standards of practice are being achieved.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
