Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Largo, MD is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our team at UM Capital Region Health Medical Center. You will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy, educate patients and families, and work with a collaborative care team to improve outcomes in an acute care setting.

This role covers ortho, behavioral health and general medicine/surgery, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop care plans to support recovery and health outcomes.
• Education: guide nutrition and lifestyle strategies for patients, families, staff, and community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: apply latest research aligned with diet manual and facility protocols.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: contribute to initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction and goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: support growth of staff and interns.
