Job summary

Northern Montana Health Care in Havre, MT is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to deliver medical nutrition therapy to patients across our rural service area. The role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and involves collaboration with physicians, nurses, and allied staff.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in nutrition/dietetics, RD registration, and knowledge of inpatient and outpatient medical nutrition therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition/dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed or eligible for license and registration.
• Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient medical nutrition therapy.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally on multiple education levels.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy to clients/patients/residents.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians and staff to ensure care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to clients/patients/residents of Northern Montana Health Care, and contracted facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition/dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed or eligible for license and registration.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques of inpatient and outpatient medical nutrition therapy.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally on multiple education levels.
• Person must have a valid driver's license.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
