Intermountain Healthcare Inc. seeks a Registered Dietitian Specialist at the St. George Endocrine and Diabetes Clinic on Foremaster Dr. in Utah.

This full-time role (40 hrs/wk) offers a sign-on bonus and may be filled as a Clinical or Clinical Specialist based on qualifications and experience. The position requires expertise in medical nutrition therapy, advanced counseling, and mentoring of staff. Qualificações

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registration eligible.
• If hired in registration eligible status, must pass the RD credentialing exam within 6 months of hire.
• For registration eligible graduates after Jan 1, 2024, completion of a master’s degree by an accredited university.

Responsabilidades

• Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized health conditions.
• Uses Nutrition Care Process to provide complex nutrition care with moderate autonomy.
• Uses advanced counseling techniques to influence behavior change.
• Uses nutrition technology for estimating needs and goals.
• Mentors newly graduated dietitians and interns.
• Applies research to improve patient outcomes.
• Implements evidence-based care with interdisciplinary team.
• Manages nutrition care across the continuum including equipment order writing.
• RD order writing privileges per policy.
