Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Specialist to advance nutrition care in endocrine and specialty settings. The role combines clinical dietetics with teaching and mentoring in a 40-hour weekly schedule at St. George Foremaster clinic.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, performing MNT with varied populations, applying the Nutrition Care Process, and staying current with evidence-based practices. A sign-on bonus of $2500 is offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or registration eligible.
• If hire is registration-eligible, pass the credentialing exam within 6 months.
• For registration-eligible graduates after Jan 1, 2024, completion of a master’s degree by an accredited university.
• Education is verified.
• Completion of ACEND accredited program (DPD/DI/CP, or graduate-level program).
• State licensure or certification as required by the primary state of practice; if required, obtained within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals with specialized health conditions or populations.
• Uses the Nutrition Care Process to deliver complex care with moderate autonomy and guidance from advanced practice dietitians.
• Applies advanced counseling techniques to influence behavior change.
• Uses nutrition-related technology to estimate needs and goals.
• Mentors newly graduated dietitians, dietetic interns, and clinical diet techs.
• Applies research to improve patient outcomes.
• Implements evidence-based care with the interdisciplinary team and updates care practices.
• Manages nutrition care across the continuum including durable medical equipment order writing.
• RD/Nutritionist order writing privileges per policy.
