Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our acute care team at Kern Medical Hospital. You will deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff to improve patient outcomes in an academically focused environment.

Schedule is M–F days up to 20 hours per week, with weekend coverage as needed. Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in the state.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed Dietitian (or able to obtain) in the state of practice.
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and patient education in acute care.
• Perform nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Support NICU/Pediatric and critical care trauma cross-coverage as needed.
• Apply evidence-based nutrition care and participate in quality initiatives.
