Job summary
A healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to provide overall nutrition care to patients through assessments and individualized care planning. Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in an acute care setting are preferred. Qualifications
Completion of course work accredited by nutrition and dietetics agencies.
Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential.
State licensure or eligibility to practice dietetics in Illinois.
1–3 years of professional experience in clinical or acute care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
Maintain dietetic registration and meet continuing education requirements.
Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients.
Provide care to in-patients and out-patients as needed.
Develop and implement nutrition intervention plans.
Document all aspects of the nutrition care plan.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and nutrition services staff.
