Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting and lead nutrition education for patients.

Qualifications

Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible.
Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice or willing to obtain.
Healthcare experience preferred—new grads with strong clinical training encouraged.

Responsibilities

Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable wellness for patients and families.
Evidence-Based Practice: Apply latest research in alignment with diet manual and facility protocols.
Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction.
Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns where applicable.
