Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital seeks a Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition Services team in Yakima, Washington. The role focuses on medical nutrition therapy, education, and documentation aligned with regulatory standards to support hospitalized and outpatient clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, WA DOH Dietitian license within 90 days, and RD credentials; two years of clinical dietetics experience are preferred, with collaborative care across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Registered Dietitian Credential (CDR) with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or RD eligible.
• WA DOH Dietitian license within 90 days of hire.
• Registered member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to provide medical nutrition therapy.
• Promote wellness and intervene in acute or chronic illness through evidence-based practices.
• Assess patient needs, develop and revise individualized care plans, educate, and document actions.
