Job summary

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Northwest Philadelphia. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.

Schedule: Monday–Friday with every 3rd Saturday onsite coverage. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in nutrition, RD certification or RD eligibility, PA licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months, and at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or RD eligible status
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred
• Licensed Dietitian in Pennsylvania or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans.
• Provide education/counseling to patients and families on nutrition and healthy eating.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop clinical nutrition protocols.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with advances in clinical nutrition.

About the Hospital: Temple Health - Chestnut Hill Hospital is a 148-bed community-based inpatient and outpatient facility offering diagnostic and treatment services, including emergency care, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery, cardiology, gynecology, oncology, and orthopedics, and two Women's Centers. They have been serving the Philadelphia area for over 100 years.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
