Morrison Healthcare in Riverview, FL is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy in an acute care setting. You will perform nutrition assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and families to support recovery and healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications

  • RD credential or CDR exam eligibility is required.
  • Licensed Dietitian in the practicing state or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Nutrition Care: Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery.
  • Education: Counsel on nutrition and lifestyle strategies for patients, families, staff, and community.
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Apply current research and diet manual guidelines to ensure high-quality care.
  • Quality & Performance Improvement: Support QAPI initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Service Excellence: Work with food service management to meet patient satisfaction goals.
  • Mentorship & Professional Development: Mentor dietetic interns and staff as applicable.

Location: Morrison Healthcare at AdventHealth Riverview
Setting: acute care
Schedule: Monday-Friday, one weekend per month
Requirement: RD Credential or RDE
Position Details: RD will be responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, self-management training, and nutrition intervention to patients/residents at a general acute care 82 bed facility. Plans to increase capacity to 120-150 beds by late 2026. Facility contains ICU, PCU, PACU, Med Surg, L&D and ED units, and holds bariatric accreditation alongside level 1 adult cardiovascular services accreditation

Salary:$65,000-$75,000
Other Forms of Compensation: meal plan, CEU's, AND and CDR dues paid, tuition and education reimbursement

What We’re Looking For:
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
