NKC Health in North Kansas City, MO, seeks a registered dietitian to deliver medical nutrition therapy under the supervision of the Coordinator, Clinical Nutrition. You will assess nutritional status, plan nutrition interventions, and collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care.

This role emphasizes interprofessional collaboration, documentation in patient records, and adherence to hospital policies. A master's degree is required for eligibility after 2024, with Missouri licensure.

• Master's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition is required.
• 2–3 years of hospital medical nutrition therapy and/or outpatient experience preferred.
• Missouri Dietitian license/credential required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients to help achieve adequate nutritional status.
• Perform nutritional assessments to determine the need for nutritional supplements or nutrition support.
• Provide nutrition education to help achieve lifestyle changes/diet modifications.

SUMMARY

SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Coordinator, Clinical Nutrition provides medical nutrition therapy for patients to help achieve adequate nutritional status. This may include, but is not limited to, nutritional assessments to determine the need for nutritional supplements or nutrition support & nutrition education to help achieve lifestyle changes/diet modifications. The Dietitian is also accountable for completing other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

Prefer 2-3 years, of experience in hospital medical nutrition therapy and/or outpatient medical nutrition therapy. Bachelor's degree is acceptable for registered dietitians and individuals who established CDR exam eligibility on or before December 31, 2023. A master's degree is required for those establishing eligibility on or after January 1, 2024.
