Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our nutrition team at an acute care medical center in Racine, WI. You will deliver evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, and document in the EMR while collaborating with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires CDR-credentialed RD and state licensure where applicable, with 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the CDR.
• Licensed by the state dietetics licensing/credentialing board where required.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, EMR and nutrient analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy and education for hospitalized patients.
• Follows Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures.
• Ensures regulatory compliance including HIPAA and privacy rules.
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable.
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs and QA/PI activities.

Salary Range: $60k - $75k based on experience

We are seeking aClinical Dietitianto join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Racine, WI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
• One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
