Job summary

Aramark is seeking an entry-level Clinical Dietitian I to provide nutrition care across hospital and outpatient settings, ensuring accurate documentation and patient-centered nutrition plans that meet regulatory standards.

You will assess nutritional status, develop individualized plans, educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and nurses on clinical protocols, monitor progress, and stay current with nutrition research to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Licensed Dietitian status in Mississippi.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care.

Job Description

The Clinical Dietitian I provides overall nutrition care to patients and is considered an entry-level role. Assures that the nutritional needs of the individual patients are being met and that all documentation as it relates to the patient's nutritional status is complete and accurate. Plans and administers activities related to resident/patient nutrition care, complying with the standards established by Aramark Healthcare, regulatory agencies, and clients. Establishes and maintains effective multidisciplinary relationships to provide a unified approach to patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
