Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, part of Banner Health, seeks a Dietetic Technician to conduct patient interviews, perform nutrition assessments, and deliver individualized education as part of the care plan. The role supports a team of nutrition professionals in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in Dietetics (DTR preferred) or a BS in Nutrition, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Formación

• Associate Degree from an approved Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Dietetic Technician program and successful passing of the DTR exam within 6 months of employment.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or Nutritional Science.
• Five years of acute-care nutrition experience if not holding DTR/associates.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical nutrition care for moderate and low nutritional risk patients.
• Deliver nutrition education to patients and families based on physician orders.
• Perform timely nutrition assessments and follow-up on re-screening and reassessment.
• Document in medical records and care plans per regulatory requirements.
• Assist with quality improvement activities and meal rounds.
• Collaborate with dietitians and health care team for patient concerns.
