Job summary

ABA Centers in Massachusetts is seeking a Clinical Diagnostics Specialist– ABA Centers to administer autism-related assessments, support families, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team. The role is onsite in Massachusetts with a strong emphasis on HIPAA compliance and timely documentation.

This position requires a Master’s degree with ASD testing experience and willingness to travel regionally. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology or related field with ASD testing experience.
  • Experience with assessments such as ADOS-2, CARS-2, Vineland, SRS-2.
  • Intake/interviewing experience and willingness to obtain psychometrist certification.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security policies.

Responsibilities

  • Administer autism-related assessments and complete pre-assessments.
  • Complete accurate hand scoring of pencil/paper and computer tests.
  • Ensure timely documentation uploads per policy and HIPAA compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and participate in supervision meetings.
  • Attend weekly supervision and clinical training sessions.

What You'll Do
  • Administer tests to clients /families
  • Complete pre-assessments with clients/families
  • Complete accurate hand scoring of pencil/paper and computer tests
  • Ensure that written documentation is completed and uploaded in a timely manner perdepartmental policy
  • Comply with ABA Centers of America’s HIPAA privacy and security policies
  • Work together as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Attend weekly group/individual supervision, Clinical Training Meetings, and Continuing Education (Weekly Didactic Meeting)
Education/Experience and Other Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field with experience testing/assessing for Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • LCSW certification is a plus
  • Experience as a technician strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of autism and coursework in assessment/testing of ASD and related disorders, intellectual disability, developmental disabilities, and learning disorders
  • Experience with tests/measures used to identify/diagnose ASD, such as:
    • ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule)
    • CARS-2 (Childhood Autism Rating Scale)
    • Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales
    • Sensory Profile
    • SRS-2 (Social Responsiveness Scale)
    • BASC-3 (Behavior Assessment System for Children)
    • BRIEF-2 (Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function)
    • Weschler Intelligence Scales
    • Developmental Assessment of Young Children
    • Kauffman Brief Intelligence Test
  • Intake/interviewing experience
  • Willingness to obtain certification from the Board of Psychometrists
  • Driver's license, reliable form of transportation, and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
  • Availability to work onsite, Monday–Friday (and some Saturdays)
  • Willingness to travel within region
