Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a database validation specialist to drive validation activities across clinical trial databases. You will lead audit efforts, ensure data quality, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate validation results.

You will test databases, maintain test cases in the DMP, and mentor junior staff while acting as SME for validation and testing throughout the trial lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in clinical, biological or mathematical sciences or related field
• Medical terminology exposure
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in validation tasks and perform database validation activities to ensure quality
• Lead database audit activities and oversee validation efforts across studies
• Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of database validation activities
• Test clinical trial databases and review/edit database specifications as required
• Create and maintain test cases within the Data Management Plan (DMP)
• Escalate issues to the Lead Data Manager and coordinate with programmers for corrections
