Qualifications

• Two years of related work experience in the same job family and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; ability to utilize electronic medical databases.
• Ability to coordinate patient/study participant care from recruitment through follow-up and schedule/verify appointments.
• Ability to independently abstract, create, and maintain a study participant’s research record with source verification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team or independently; professional appearance and attendance.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and manage shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects data through various methods for research projects.
• Interprets, analyzes, and plans data and experiments; assists in research design.
• Writes and edits material for publication and presentation; reports on research activity status.
• Schedules and coordinates research activities; identifies and recruits study participants; orders and maintains supplies.
• May assist in preparing financial information and monitoring budgets.
• Performs additional functions incidental to research activities.
