Job summary

BayMark Health Services seeks a Counselor Supervisor to lead Counselors and Interns, ensuring treatment and casework services comply with laws, BayMark policies, and the plan of care. The role emphasizes timely documentation and identifying patient needs across physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions.

The supervisor will oversee intake operations, maintain records, manage budgeting, and supervise staff through meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a master’s degree.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with chemically dependent individuals.
• Prior supervisory experience required; self-motivated and directed.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with EMRs is a plus.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assign counselors’ caseloads, amends when necessary.
• Conducts quality assurance file reviews.
• Direct and supervise all intake operations.
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
• Ensures accurate and current clinical records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State Regulations governing NTP clinics.
• Maintain counseling caseload.
• Provide direct supervision to clinicians as well as assist in the ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service training’s, guest speakers and reviewing literature.
• Acts as Treatment Center Director when he/she is absent.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
