Job description

Clinical Coordinator – Radiography

Valencia College is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to manage student clinical education, act as the primary liaison to clinical affiliates, support curriculum implementation, and ensure accreditation compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate student clinical placements, scheduling, and ensure alignment with program and accreditation requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clinical partners to streamline placement processes.
  • Monitor student performance, provide feedback, and address clinical‑related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for clinical sites, placements, and compliance documentation.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clinical issues and collaborate with faculty and preceptors.
  • Assist with program development, policies, procedures, and continuous professional development.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in radiography or a related health field; or 18 graduate semester hours with a master’s degree in a related field.
  • Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in radiography.
  • Licensure or certification must be active and maintained per state or national regulations.
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in radiologic technology.
  • At least one year of instructor experience in a JRCERT‑accredited program.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development, academic advising, and instruction.
  • Experience with instructional methodology, curriculum management, and the ability to teach face‑to‑face, online, and hybrid modalities.
  • Florida residency must be established within 30 days of the start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree preferred, depending on the specific program.
  • Experience in clinical education, particularly in coordinating clinical placements or working with clinical sites.
  • Knowledge and certification in specialized imaging modalities (CT, Echocardiography, MRI, Mammography).
Salary & Benefits
  • Masters+30: $78,537 - $94,199 per year
  • Doctorate: $83,786 - $99,448 per year
  • Includes a $5,000 annual Valencia College Pay Additive paid in biweekly installments.

The position is a 12‑month faculty role with a 40‑hour work week; teaching assignments may include day, night, and/or weekend classes.

  • Subject to annual renewal; duties and time commitments vary by program size and accreditation needs.
  • Position is not eligible for Veteran’s Preference under Florida Statute 295.07(5)(a), F.S.
